The Ministry of Science and ICT announced on the 2nd that it will begin a new project for 2024 based on the AI expansion project based on inter-ministerial collaboration that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) into public services.
This year, a budget of 24 billion won, which is three times more than the previous year (8 billion won), will be invested to support technology development and verification for 10 new projects in addition to existing projects.
The AI expansion project based on inter-ministerial collaboration is a policy to develop and verify AI services that can be applied to various public sectors. The Ministry of Science and ICT is implementing it since 2022 as part of its efforts to promote AI as a daily routine for all citizens.
This year's selected tasks are: △Development and verification of AI-based personalized veterans' welfare solution (Acryl Consortium), △Development and verification of AI-based drone rescue and search system (Huins Consortium), △Development and verification of AI-integrated terms and conditions review platform (Mediagen Consortium), △Development and verification of AI-based severe trauma full-cycle care system (Ajou University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation Consortium), △Development and verification of AI-integrated special medical equipment image quality inspection platform (Inbiz Consortium), △Development and verification of AI-based dried laver quality grade determination solution (Tmax Tivero Consortium), △Development and verification of traffic accident risk prediction and advance prevention solution (Pintel Consortium), △Development and verification of AI-based national land change detection solution (Hancom InSpace Consortium), △Development and verification of AI light pollution image analysis solution (Gobaek Technology Consortium), △AI-based It is a development and verification of an integrated support solution for recruiting and job seeking (Wanted Lab Consortium).
