"We will create an 'AI Hospital' where medical services can be received anywhere, regardless of location."

jin Park, CEO of ACRYL (pictured), said in an interview on the 5th, "We will build an environment where treatment can be received anytime, anywhere by connecting hospitals and homes."

ACRYL, which entered the KOSDAQ market in December last year, is Korea's first listed AI infrastructure company. It provides services that redesign corporate and hospital operations around AI.

The reason ACRYL is gaining attention in the medical field is that it has created an environment where AI programs can be easily introduced within hospitals. Previously, adopting AI in the medical field was not easy. This was because patients' medical data was stored separately across Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Order Communication Systems (OCS), and insurance claims, and was difficult to utilize due to lack of standardization.

However, ACRYL solved these barriers through 'NADIA,' an AI platform that collects and standardizes medical data. There is also 'Jonathan,' a solution that enables easy creation of AI programs based on this data. Through this, they have established an environment where AI models can be created directly with just a few clicks, even without coding knowledge.

CEO Park explained, "Doctors know well what AI programs they need, but it's difficult for them to create them directly. Jonathan is a tool to bridge that gap."

Through NADIA and Jonathan, ACRYL has created several Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) products, including depression diagnosis assistance and benign prostatic hyperplasia diagnosis assistance. Four of these have obtained medical device approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

ACRYL is collaborating with Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, Samsung Seoul Hospital, and Yonsei Severance Hospital to develop AI medical devices applicable to various conditions including infectious diseases and atopic dermatitis.

CEO Park's goal is to create an 'AI Hospital' based on Jonathan and NADIA. This does not mean building an actual hospital. CEO Park said, "We will enable medical AI solutions to check patient conditions anytime, anywhere using data collected through personal smartphones, sensor devices, and other means."
