Acryl Takes First Steps in Korea's First "Medical Physical AI"… "Future-Oriented Active Medical AI Service Development with Regional Medical Institutions"

Acryl, a key player in "Sovereign AI," is introducing "Physical AI" to the healthcare industry for the first time in Korea. Acryl, a total AI transformation (AX) solution provider, announced on the 00th that it has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kangwon National University Hospital to "enhance cooperation in AI-based healthcare services."

Through this agreement, Acryl and Kangwon National University Hospital will pursue the following initiatives: 1) establishing a specialized medical foundation model and commercializing it as a service; 2) advancing AI-based healthcare R&D; 3) establishing a data center based on healthcare big data integration and standardization; 4) jointly pursuing a global public healthcare ODA package model; and 5) fostering an AI regional innovation ecosystem in the Gangwon region.

The core of this agreement is the development of a "future-oriented active medical AI service" that combines AI technology and medical infrastructure to respond immediately in the physical environment. Acryl has maintained a close partnership with Kangwon National University Hospital for a long time to introduce AI technology into the medical field, and this implementation of Physical AI in the medical industry is also based on this partnership.

Acryl and Kangwon National University Hospital have conducted various joint projects, including a personalized AI diet management solution, Doctor Answer AI for severe atopic dermatitis management, and the Karakalpakstan Maternal and Child Health Information Project. Through these projects, they have continuously developed collaborative models for AI healthcare that can be applied in clinical settings.

Currently, Kangwon National University Hospital is developing and operating AI services in various fields, including diet management, pain management, health management, and life logging, as part of its AI-based cancer treatment center development project. According to the company, this agreement was signed to integrate with the hospital's EMR and further integrate with Physical AI robots.

If successful, this collaboration will ultimately create a "Physical AI-based integrated personalized patient management platform," encompassing data management across the entire patient journey, from diagnosis and treatment to recovery and lifestyle management, as well as real-world care.

Starting with this project, Acryl plans to successfully create standardized and scalable leading practices in the service sector and expand its physical AI implementation into various service industries in the future. Jonathan possesses core technologies for AI transformation and provides solutions, ranging from data labeling to platform construction and operation.

Kangwon National University Hospital President Nam Woo-dong stated, "This agreement will be the first step toward 'medical physical AI,' where Kangwon National University Hospital's accumulated clinical expertise and data, combined with cutting-edge AI technology, will deliver tangible benefits to patients. We will contribute to Gangwon Province's advancement as a hub for digital healthcare in Korea."

Acryl CEO Jin Park emphasized, "For AI to move beyond the laboratory and become a true partner that supports patients and medical professionals in the physical space of the hospital, a robust data ecosystem is essential. Together with Kangwon National University Hospital, we will create a world-class medical AI reference." <End>
