- Joint R&D with Sungkyunkwan University, total project value KRW 11.55 billion
- Expanding LLMOps platform Jonathan into AgentOps to pioneer multi-agent technology
- Developing Agentic AI healthcare services integrated with global medical AI platform NADIA
Acryl Inc. (CEO Jin Park), in partnership with Sungkyunkwan University, has been selected for the Ministry of Science and ICT’s flagship AI Star Fellowship Program to pioneer next-generation AgentOps technology for medical AI and foster top-tier AI talent.
The project, titled “Development of Cooperative Intelligent Agent Technology for Human–AI Partnership,” will run for five years and six months, from July 2025 to December 2030. With KRW 11 billion in government funding, the total R&D investment amounts to KRW 11.55 billion, making it one of the largest national AI initiatives.
Through this program, Acryl will advance its proven LLMOps platform, Jonathan, into Korea’s only AgentOps platform specialized for the healthcare sector. Moving beyond conventional model management and deployment, the upgraded platform will feature Synergistic AI Multi-Agent capabilities—enabling rapid configuration, coordination, and collaboration of autonomous agents.
“Jonathan has already reduced clients’ development costs and build times by over 70%, while improving LLM training speeds by more than 53% through GPU optimization—earning the Grand Prize at the 2024 AI Service Awards,” said an Acryl spokesperson. “We will now expand this into AgentOps to automate the configuration and operation of distributed multi-agent workflows.”
Combining ‘NADIA’ with Synergistic Multi-Agent Technology
Acryl also plans to integrate its Synergistic AI Multi-Agent technology with NADIA, the company’s global medical AI platform currently in operation at facilities such as Uzbekistan’s Fourth Hospital.
Key development areas include:
Multi-domain, commercially deployable medical-specialized platforms and agent-based AI services
Humanoid embodied companion agents that interact with users and accumulate experience and knowledge
Standardized interfaces and communication protocols for interoperability between heterogeneous AI systems
A notable focus will be the role-based multi-agent collaboration structure, tailored for real-world scenarios such as patient care. The system will assign specialized agents for diagnosis, response, and monitoring, and integrate them into Jonathan’s AgentOps framework. This will strengthen NADIA’s medical intelligence and accelerate hospital workflow automation worldwide.
Strengthening Global Leadership in Agentic AI for Healthcare
Acryl already holds a strong technological edge in Agentic AI. The company presented research on LLM RAG extensions for embodied agents and LLM-based hierarchical task planning at top-tier conferences such as NeurIPS and EMNLP in 2024. Its Korean large language model, Areum (A-LLM), maintained the No. 1 ranking in the open-source category of W&B’s Tiger Leaderboard for four consecutive months.
“Through this national project, we aim to secure leading-edge technical competitiveness and top-tier talent in real-world healthcare applications,” said the spokesperson. “Our evolving Carevo (Care + Evolution) service will adapt to users’ changing needs and lifestyles, creating a new paradigm for AI-driven healthcare.”
