SEOUL, South Korea – February 17, 2025– Acryl (CEO Jin Park), an artificial intelligence company, announced the opening of a digital human exhibition hall at the Independence Hall of Korea, in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day. The exhibition revives independence activists through AI technology, delivering history vividly to visitors and gaining positive responses.
Beyond simple viewing, this exhibition is designed as an educational venue for future generations to reflect on the meaning of the independence movement and foster a sense of history. Visitors can learn history in an engaging way through interactions with digital humans and honor the noble sacrifices of independence activists.
Visitors can experience various things, such as conversing with veterans restored as digital humans through AI kiosk and answering quizzes. Enhanced voice recognition technology enables more natural conversations, increasing immersion. The addition of a selfie feature allows visitors to capture special moments with digital humans. To celebrate the new opening, photo booth SNS upload events and history quizzes are being held.
This is part of the 'AI-based Digital Human Content Platform Construction Project for Persons of Distinguished Service to the Nation,' organized by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs. This project aims to provide the public with a more realistic and vivid historical experience through the construction of AI-powered digital humans based on key historical materials related to the heroes of the independence movement.
The Acryl Consortium (Acryl, VIVE Studios, Level Nine) is building digital human content of veterans, providing visitors with new experiences.
