Jin Park, CEO of Acrylic, stated, “We aim to accelerate our customers' digital transformation through AI and LLM technologies, contributing to the improvement of human life.” He emphasized, “By 2025, we plan to continue our growth and aim for a technology-specialized listing.”
Acrylic plans to achieve this goal through the following strategies: ▲ Launching upgraded products ▲ Expanding partnerships in the healthcare sector ▲ Focusing on international business expansion.
Acrylic’s MLOps platform, Jonathan, strengthens LLMOps functionality with its self-developed LLM “A-LLM.” The company will launch an upgraded version through advanced technologies that accelerate learning and inference. It plans to offer model bases specializing in open-source LLM fine-tuning and service bases supporting LLM-RAG system construction.
Additionally, Acrylic plans to enhance the integration of LLM with AI medical devices in its AI healthcare information system (HIS), Nadia, and conduct pilot services. With the acquisition of the AI healthcare innovation company Fine Healthcare last year, Acrylic aims to maximize synergy in the healthcare sector, addressing healthcare inequalities and improving the quality of medical services.
Meanwhile, Acrylic has entered the Central Asian market, starting with Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan, and is expanding into Southeast Asia through a partnership with a Malaysian healthcare company. The company is positioning itself for global expansion with a target of 23 billion KRW in revenue this year.
In 2024, Acrylic launched the small language model (sLLM) "A-LLM" and achieved 1st place in the open-source division of the "Tiger Leaderboard." The company has been recognized for its technological prowess through successful projects with government entities like the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and the Ministry of Unification. Acrylic has also achieved several milestones, including being designated as an Excellent Corporate Research Institute by the Ministry of Science and ICT. With an “A” grade in the preliminary technology evaluation, Acrylic plans to apply for a full technical evaluation and proceed with a technology-specialized listing.
