Use CasesJan 8, 2025

Lotte World Adventure is operating an interactive AI-based “Talking Roti” at the Barcelona Square on the second floor of Adventure until the 31st.

The “Interactive AI Talking Roti” is part of the “2024 AI Content Production Support” initiative, which is organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) to discover and expand the market for excellent AI-powered content. AI specialist Acryl and VFX studio Elliott collaborated on its development.

The AI Roti on-screen engages with guests as if in real conversation, providing a wide range of interactive experiences and information about Lotte World Adventure.

From basic details like the locations of attractions, restaurants, gift shops, and amenities to real-time updates such as today’s show schedules and operating hours, the AI Roti offers comprehensive assistance. It can even recommend personalized attractions based on the guest’s preferences during the conversation.

Guests can inform AI Roti of special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries to trigger a celebratory display on the screen, creating a festive atmosphere. Additionally, if someone says, “Let’s take a photo together,” Roti strikes adorable poses against various backgrounds, transforming into a unique photo spot.

Since its launch late last year, the “Interactive AI Talking Roti” has consistently attracted visitors with its accessible and entertaining features.

Mi-sook Park, Head of Marketing at Lotte World, stated, “We introduced the ‘Interactive AI Talking Roti’ by combining our flagship character Roti’s IP with cutting-edge AI technology to provide new experiences for our guests and promote shared growth with small businesses. Lotte World will continue to explore innovative technologies and diverse initiatives in the future.”

Lotte World has maintained an active partnership with KOCCA. Last year, it collaborated with “Needs N” and “Dankong” under the “IP Licensing Build-Up” program, which fosters tailored growth between large corporations and small content companies. This collaboration resulted in two videos commemorating Lotte World’s 35th anniversary, including attraction guides.

Furthermore, Lotte World participated in KOCCA’s “Immersive Content Production Support” initiative, working with media art group “CUZ” to create a new 3D media mapping show for the Magic Castle.
