ACRYL (CEO Jin Park), an artificial intelligence company, has begun cooperation with the Republic of Karakalpakstan for digital transformation in the healthcare sector. The two sides met at the ACRYL headquarters on the 25th of last month

and discussed specific measures to innovate Karakalpakstan's healthcare system based on AI healthcare technology.

A high-ranking delegation, including Amanbayev Amanbay, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Karakalpakstan, participated in this meeting, showing great interest in Korea's advanced

IT technology and healthcare system, and expressed their position to accelerate Karakalpakstan's economic and social development and improve the quality of life of its citizens through cooperation with ACRYL.

Based on the platform ‘Jonathan’ that supports the entire AI introduction cycle and ‘NADIA’ that allows existing hospital data to be used based on AI, ACRYL is providing customized AI healthcare solutions for low-income countries (LMICs) with a shortage of medical personnel and poor healthcare environments. Through this collaboration,

both parties will join forces to innovate healthcare through AI technology.

NADIA platform leads innovation in Karakalpakstan healthcare environment

ACRYL’s Nadia platform is a comprehensive solution that supports the entire process from medical data input to AI model development and distribution. It continuously learns and analyzes medical data through AI technology to enable accurate diagnosis and prediction. In particular, it is expected to be very effective in areas with a shortage of medical personnel as it can provide high-quality medical services even in remote healthcare environments.

AI-based SaMD development, providing local customized medical solutions

'SaMD (Software as a Medical Device)' developed based on the Nadia platform can provide customized medical AI diagnostic solutions that are suitable for the characteristics of Karakalpakstan. Through this, Karakalpakstan is expected to be able to provide medical services at the level of advanced countries and contribute to the improvement of national health.

Establishment of IT center and training of talent, establishment of sustainable healthcare system

ACRYL plans to establish an IT center in Karakalpakstan and operate various educational programs to train local talent. Through this, Karakalpakstan is expected to be able to

Building a stronger partnership based on experience responding to COVID-19

In 2022, ACRYL contributed to preventing the spread of infectious diseases by providing the Karakalpakstan Ministry of Health with an 'AI-based digital infectious disease prognosis and prediction decision-making system' during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on this successful experience, the two sides plan to build a closer cooperative relationship and explore new possibilities in the AI healthcare field.

Meanwhile, ACRYL, which was established in March 2011, is expanding its AI healthcare business in LMIC countries, focusing on Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan. Through close cooperation with governments of each country, it is developing AI solutions optimized for local medical environments, thereby improving the quality of medical services and contributing to the promotion of national health.

ACRYL provides AI solutions specialized for various industries such as government agencies, manufacturing, defense, and medical healthcare. In 2018, it attracted strategic investment from LG Electronics and SK, and in 2020, it was selected as a 'potential AI unicorn company' by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Through the AI platforms 'Jonathan' and 'Nadia' and the LLM 'Arum', it is actively carrying out public and private projects, and is providing one-stop services from system construction to operation to institutions and companies that want to introduce AI.
